Future Shah of Iran Engaged to Princess Fawzia of Egypt

The future Shah of Iran arrived in Cairo in 1939 to meet his bride (the first of three marriages), Princess Fawzia of Egypt. The royal menu for this ocassion has been added to this site; the buffet banquet was hosted by Princess Fawzia's brother, King Farouk of Egypt, and held at the Abdine Palace.
