Welcome
Thankyou for visiting Royal Menus where you can step back in time; step into the shoes of a King or Queen; and pull up a chair at their palace dining table.
This site shares some royal menus and the stories about the royal and imperial hosts of these grand banquets, decadent dinners and the suppers served at the splendid palace balls.
This is a private collection of original menus and the owner retains all copyright of the images. But, like any collector, sharing the collection is ten times more fun and ten times more important than keeping it hidden away.
Please enjoy exploring the royal courts of a bygone era and, be assured, the site will be regularly updated as more and more of the collection is added.
